Cherelle Angeline
Multi-Disciplinary Artist
Cherelle Angeline's practice is based upon tracing back to cultural roots. She combines tactile materials ranging from textiles, installation, sound, poetry, and performance in her practice, researching and creating works to explore historical, social, and cultural subjects and objects in the contemporary to rediscover her fragmented personal identity and familial history. Through multidisciplinary and experimentations, she reconstructs traditional domestic activities and objects, delving its relationship and significance in the public through the bodily and spatial experience.
