Textile takes momentum

On my birthday, I received a package of flowers. I have finally arranged my own flowers with the help of the florist’s choice of bouquet: it is called Vanity Fair. On the very day, I got to start my tapestry weaving with fresh wood frame I made by myself the same day its initial warp strings were installed. Oh, the power of flowers from a loved one, its smells and forms to motivate my days starting my work that currently in need this kind of inspiration! Current exploration on weaving frame stretcher with a few materials. It’s a step after a previous tiny sample I did two years back. This time, I started with the color of grey cotton threads, then found black, pink and transparent threads to be just what I was looking for to suit my series of textile pieces made in the past few months. All in various thicknesses and textures, wish me luck as this is a piece to be brushed with in this momentum!
